PowerBook i5?

Well I'll admit I didn't expect Apple to switch to the dark side of processors.

What will they call the new Intel based products?

PowerBook i5

PowerMac P7

iBook i5

intelBook

Mac Mini Intel (Interestingly I think this is the first recent product not to have a G4/G5 moniker?)

I can see the average PC World customer being pretty confused. So will this Apple Intel Laptop run all my Windows software?

It's not confusing at all. It's a Mac, it runs Mac OS and Mac applications. It doesn't run Windows or Windows applications. The processor does not matter; only the benchmarks.

You see, Apple's marketing doesn't even need to change.
