Can someone help me get rid of the ads in osx AIM? There is a patch at resexellence for the classic version.

    Use Adium. It's much better than both AIM and Fire (and fully compatible too).

    sinewave, way cool. i was wondering what you did with the app to make those ads to disappear (for future reference with later revisions). I tried looking in the package contents but found nothing different.

    I opened that file in the "Constructor" app that comes with Codewarrior.

    heh I don't use AIM.. I just downloaded it to see if I could figure it out when I read this thread. Knowing not everyone owns Code Warrior I didn't post instructions. I just posted the app. I hope AOL doesn't sue me. So get it quick
