Is AppleCare only a one-time purchase? Once your AppleCare is up you can't purchase an additional year or two of coverage right?

    The AppleCare is one time purchase.. if you'll need support later, it would be a single incident case with one time fee, in case that would need any troubleshooting. So you are right.
