Transfer FCE Project from Old Mac to New

How can I go about transfering a project? I know I can copy the media files and the project files, but don't the project files think the media files are in a particular place and won't the moved project files not be able to find the media files once everything is on a new system?

    Technically, this may happen. But all you have to do is open up your FCE project and it will tell you that your media is missing (if in fact it's not in the correct location). Simply select File->Reconnect Media and it will ask you where the missing files are. Voila! You should be set.



    Usually, if you maintain the same file hierarchy, you won't run into any problems at all, though.
