Intel specific forum

Thought it might be a good idea to split "Processor" or "All Things Intel" out of the hardware forum. It's a pretty unique time in Apple's history, mabe it should have a unique forum. It's all anyone's going to be talking about for the next two years. If someone wants to talk future video cards it's going to get buried.

    It has been discussed. I, personally, don't feel it's necessary. We still have 2 years of PPC releases to talk about, and 1 year until we see an Intel machine available to the public. In that time there will be plenty of hardware to talk about!

    We have already discussed this, but decided that we will not split the forums. BTW we decided to do a FAQ Intel switch thread in Futur Hardware.

    I think users should just stop posting redundant threads. It's not that difficult. Other people have had the exact same thought you had and expressed it already, you aren't so damned special that you need your very own thread for your late-coming genius. (Not talking to you specifically, inslider, just in general.)
