Span Backup Program

I am very new to mac (tiger) I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that can be used to backup that has a span feature. My HOME directory is larger than the 4.7 GB of a DVD and instead of trying to figure which files I want to copy to not go over the 4.7 I would like to copy all and the program to ask me to insert a new disk. Just as iTunes does when copying music onto a CD, if you are copying to many songs it will tell you that it will need to put the music on various disks. I hope I have explained myself properly.



So any program for tiger that can do this?
