OS X Apps on Windows / Intel hardware

QuickTime comes to mind when I think of an interesting foundation for many kinds of formats. Why not allow it to run a universal binary? Anyone else have this thought? Allow all the apps compiled in XCode 2.1 to run on OS X natively as well as under QT on Windows. Just a guess, tell me what you think.

Windows is missing a bunch of features that OS X has, so it's not that easy.

Mac apps running on an unreliable OS will be unreliable, giving the Mac platform a bad name.

Besides, why would you want to? I want the Mac experience, so I bought a Mac.

Cocoa for Windows would be tasty. Build once, run anywhere. Its like Java, except its natively compiled Obj C. W00t!
