iBook Internal Bluetooth Upgrade
Is it possible to upgrade an ibook w/ internal bluetooth module after you have bought it. I may want bluetooth in the future but did not get it when i bought the laptop. do i need to use a usb adaptor or can i get an internal module or something like you can do w/ the wireless extreme card. thx for your help

The powerbookguy.com site sells the internal bluetooth module for $99 (DISCLAIMER: I've never dealt with them so I can't vouch). Installing it yourself will void your warranty. I bet a service site would charge you an hour labor to install it for you.
I personally don't mind a $20 usb dongle versus the $200 (installation after purchase) internal option...

this is true... when apple does installation after purchase, its usually not a cheap bill

that kind of reminds me of a macgyverism; something that macgyver would do. it also reminds me of the3 time i saw someone who built/installed a battery on tehir mac mini so that they didnt have a wire coming out...
