loud clicking sound from superdrive...??!!

hi to all mac experts.

I'm experiencing lound clicking sound (like the sound when you put cd into drive) everytime I reboot the powerbook...

is it mean to do that???...



I had ti-powerbook that didn't make such sound as I remember...



please help me out. do I need to go apple store to get it checked or is it ok??

    Is it a series of clicks, or just one click? Do you have a cd/dvd in there?

    kinda series sound... same sound everytime rebooting... is it broken??

    It does sound like it is broken, or going to be shortly... Backup everything and buy a new drive!
