Money management on Mac: any alternatives to Quicken?

I'm a 3-day old Switcher hatchling and am bummed to learn that data conversion from Quicken for Windows to Quicken for Mac is evidently not straightforward.

I just read on the Quicken site that the conversion between PC and Mac Quicken results in a significant loss of data (they even offer to do the conversion themselves, for a $65 fee).

Cross Platform Conversion with Quicken

If I am going to have to start over from scratch (more or less) if I do through this conversion, I am curious if I should consider a different money management program?

Other than Quicken for Mac, are there any other similar programs people recommend?

I've found both Quicken and MYOB are jokers when it comes to PC->Mac and back again. You would think they would be programming from the same page using similar data formats.
