Windows Media Player Help

For some odd reason I am not able to download Windows Media Player, I try to download and a blank sheet shows up on my desktop and I am not able to download I used .bin and .hpx. Do i need some type of special softare to download WMP? I have tried downloading the OS X version because I do have Tiger. Thanks any help will be appreciated.

    As of 10.4 Apple no longer ships is OS with Stuffit Expander. You will have to download it to expand these files.

    It's a blank sheet because there is no program associated with it. You need Stuffit Expander. Up until Tiger it was included with OS X.

    Way to go Apple.



    I fully support phasing out Stuffit, since reliance on a third party for the standard Mac compression format is dangerous for Apple. But if Apple is going to phase out Stuffit, why the hell cant they offer an alternative? This is terrible to force noobs to download a strange app just to expand a common Mac file format. They're probably thinking, "hmmmm...Windows never made me jump through such a hoop..."
