Switching from a Damaged (?) PC Hard Drive
A buddy at work has a 'damaged' Windows Hard Drive. He's running some kind of Windows Repair SW that's supposed to cure his problems. However, it's taking days to repair this 160GB Hard Drive. I told him that he should finally Switch and MAYBE, he MIGHT be able to use the Apple Switch Utility to pull the information from his Windows Drive and write it to an Apple Drive (inside a new Apple Computer, of course 
).
Here's a little more information about the Hard Drive problem:
?He's still able to use the computer.
?Some of his data does not seem to be readable (this is what the Repair SW is supposed to be fixing).
?No strange noises from the Hard Drive.
Does anyone have any experience in trying something like this?
