I currently have a Powerbook G4 1.5Ghz 768Gb RAM

Would anyone think there be any benefit to upgrade the RAM to 1.25Gb?

I am using OSX Panther.

It depends on what you are doing. If you are running things like logic pro, the extra ram will be helpful. If you are just surfing, word processing, and doing e-mail, you probably will not see much of a difference.

whay he said plus if your system is feeling more sluggish, you may wantt to close all apps and varify and repair permissions if it has been a while since you did that.

Are you getting a lot of pageouts?

Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor, click "System Memory", then look at "Page Ins/Outs".
