Availability of New Mac Minis?

Sorry I couldn't decide on the appropriate forum to place this under so mods please move if necessary.



If, hypothetically speaking, Mac Minis were to be announced on the 7th. When's the earliest we can expect them to reach our doorsteps? How about Asia? I need one before the 31st so I'd be great if someone can give a guestimation.

    LOL, You have never lived in a forign contry have you, 2 day airmail takes a week and cost about $100

    In actual times I don't know, I have had mail take 4 days and 6 weeks, But i dought that there will be anything good or new about the mac minis. I think that this hole new mini thing was just sparked by the anouncements of new intel chips, If there is a real difference it is probly a newer video chip or some othere minor difference. And It also depends where it is that you live, I live in Japan, there is a good chance it would reach me in time but if you live in the phillapines or thialand or somewhere down there it might take longer.

    I live in Taiwan and it usually takes about a month or two for a new product to make it to the stores. The Apple stores in Taiwan suck!

    Well I live in Hong Kong right now. When the 'new' revised Ipod (20gb color) was released, it was available on the Apple Store online. I'm not sure if this is the case for Macs though which is why I'm asking. I guess if Macs take a few weeks before they hit Asia then I might as well plop down the cash for one right now.
