If you are interested VersionTracker is now offering a dowload link to Palm. The links sends you to a site that requrires you to register. It will then send you a email link to actually download the installer. Very slow to link up. Still havn't got it and am waiting patiently for it to connect. Will keep you updated.

Works for me. It kernal panicked when I tried an IR sync, but USB works fine. No avantgo though

There's no new killer features, but it's carbonised pretty well (compared to some programs I've seen), and has sheets etc.

Trying to Sync with a Keyspan Serial to USB adapter. Downloaded the newest driver. Also using a USB hub. I tried a direct connection to my iMac but....won't sync. Anyone else have this problem, if you have gotten it to work please take a moment and reply wth what you did to make it work. Thank you.

Uh, installed it, plugged in my Palm, pressed the button, and it worked

You should run Palm Desktop before your first sync though, or you'll get loads of duplicates.

Anybody mind mirroring the installer as Palm's server is swamped! 300 connections max and the story's been covered practically everywhere but /.

works great with a visor edge/usb cradle. funny, i was getting so annoyed that i couldn't get it off of hotline and boom, the next day is was up for download. anyway, aside from a lot of unclean interface pieces, it seems to be working pretty well.

So if there's no Apple-branded Palm device, and this is what's been achieved in the twelve months since MWSF 2001, what the heck did the "doing a lot of work with these guys lately" comment at that event refer to?

Here's hoping Apple will at least provide conduits for Mail and Address Book.

The software seems pretty good to me, however I got a kernal panic when attempting to IR sync. (My PALM datafiles are munged now, but I'll just clear 'em out and re-synch...)

USB synching via my serial adapter works great. Of course, that means I need one more cable.
