Apple target of corporate raiders?

With 7.5Bn in the bank and a market cap of $32Bn, Apple would imho be a prime target for corporate raiders.



Take out a massive loan, snatch up the majority of outstanding shares, split off the iPod/iTMS/iTunes section into a new company, sell said company, cash profits.

Then pocket the $7.5Bn (23% instant profit).

Then sell off FCP and other video software in another company, cash profits

Then sell the remainder of AAPL on the stock market with some loss.





I sure hope AAPL has some conservative investors which do not agree to such a scheme...
