Remember Steve Jobs announcing that this would be the "year of HD" back in January? Well, what has happened? Apart from the iLife apps there seems to be nothing \

Broken promise?

Rule #1 for being an Apple user: If Steve says that it is the "Year of 'X'", then there will almost certainly be no X-related products after the initial launch.

Well, whats a guy to do when the "new" notebooks are just slight retouches to 5 year old parts...

As ot the year of HD, there is like 7 cable HD feeds and they only do 4 hrs HD per day, all in the same timeslots, so content snt really a driver of HD sales, and untill HD sets are common place, most small time/hobby video people will not leap to HD...particularly when the camera, for a base model, costs 3-4 times what final cut studio does.
