Games?

I know mac isnt made for games, but i know mac is definatly capable of running games. Because there is suych a small number of games it shouldnt hard to find info on mac games - but it is hard. I was wondering if anyone could tell me some rpgs that are available for mac? even if they are crappy and/or oldschool can you let me know of some? (preferably free)



And i heard mac is basicly BSD, will all software made for bsd work on mac?

I have bought four games for the Mac. I am currently playing Railroad Tycoon 3. My son likes Tony Hawk, but we are not letting him play it right now.

Unfortuantely, Mac Gamer is coming up with errors at the moment. I hope you can find what you are looking for at one of these sites. I did a search for RPG on Inside Mac Games and came up with quite a few hits.

Old school -> run an emulator for any old machine and ROMs.



The only RPG'ing on Mac I have experience of is World of Warcraft. Seems to run passably on a new iBook as long as you don't dream of playing versus other players.



I can understand wanting to go for the free stuff (often fresher than a game that sells huge) but it's not like a game is going to break your bank. WoW has a monthly fee and it's the equivalent of two movie tickets.
