Do you think Apple will make a terminal server for Mac OS X Server?

    Define 'Terminal Server'. You mean being able to log into a remote machine through the Terminal? 'man ssh' in Terminal.

    What advantage would it be for Apple to produce something like "Microsoft Windows Terminal Services" (note that Terminal Server is not really a defined term)? Everyone, including Microsoft, is pushing towards "service computing" to replace that sort of setup. Apple has long had WebObjects, and specifically the Direct-to-Java-Client portion, to compete in what you are really trying to accomplish there.



    Look to MacOS X Server's admin package as a sign on things to come.

    DHagan, define what you mean by terminal server. If you mean what I think you mean, Kickaha's post is your answer.
