TiBook 1GHz Display is shot (totally white)
Past week has been spent watching the display on my TiBook slowly die. It started with intermittent "white-outs" at startup (would never get to Apple logo), the display looked fine when it WAS working. Now the #$@!* thing is in a constant "white" state. I was able to connect an external, which came up fine (while the main display sat there blank).
Anyone have any idea what I'm looking at (pun not intended) here from a repair cost? Tried all the resetting PRAM, open firmware reset, permissions repaired, etc. I have a sinking feeling I'm hosed.
No AppleCare (of course

I decided that my small scratch wasn't worth the $1200 it would cost to replace my screen. I have a feeling you might feel the same way.
