I know someone installed a Mac MINI in a car a few months ago, but I was curious if anyone knows of a manufacture that has started to simplify this car installation.

I'm looking to install one of the "NEW" Mac MINI's in my 2005 MAZDA 3.

Please add your suggestion, links and help with this installation process. THANKS!

Not exactly original equipment with any manufacturer yet...

but they've finished their 69 Mini Nova and done up a Mini 98 Jeep Cherokee

complete with videos detailing some of the install, if not very detailed...

Why would you install a Mac into a car? Is it really that boring driving around that you need a computer with you?

The Mazda 3 seems to have plenty of room to wedge one in, but you may run into thermal problems if you leave the car in the sun.

What do you plan on using the mac mini for?

This car has three Mac minis.

And it drives itself, but that's a whole other story.

I don't know about any manufacturers creating products to simplify the installation but over at the mp3car forum there are a few guys devoted entirely to installing macs in their cars. Here is the link to the specific page on the forum.
