Mac Compatible? Linksys NSLU2 Network Storage Link?
Hey everyone,
im looking at networking (wired) two Macs and want to thrown an external HD (that i already own) into the network too. This is what i've been looking at.
It's linksys "Network Storage Link for USB 2.0 Disk Drives" and i want to know for sure that it's Mac OS X compatible. i was under the impression that it is, but then i was told it's not. So has anyone used it, or know anyone that has?
Also, i hear you've got reformat your HD into some obscure format for it to work (which i could manage), is this true?
Basically, can anyone reccomend it, for Mac OS X (of course)?
Thanks all

Yes well clearly that is a nice simple solution, but that depends on that one Mac always being on, which isn't what i want. i'd like to be able to share this HD, through a network, amongst two computers so that i can listen to my mp3s through either, without the other being on.
Thanks
