Rolling back to 10.3.9?
My friend wants to roll his system back from 10.4.x to 10.3.9, but but he wants to keep his files/setting in tact as much as possible. Which option from the install disc is best?
1.) Upgrade Mac OS X - This would be the ideal choice, but I'm not sure it would work going backwards from 10.4 to 10.3.
2.) Archive and Install - Most likely what he'll have to do, but is there data that won't transfer over correctly? (Mail 2.0 files, for example?)
3.) Erase and Install - Not something he wants to do, obviously.
