I need a recommendation for a UPS that can handle 2 windows 2003 based file servers simultaneously. All of these models are so freaking confusing.

Need more info. What are the power draw needs of the servers? (if you don't know, then a make/model of computer will help me discover)
Also for how long do you want to keep them up? A minute? An hour? A day?
How critical? Call center, major corporation or personal use?

I second Benton's recommendation. I've never had a problem with APC.

I like the
APC Back-UPS ES, 750VA
It has lots of power and 5 (Battery Backup) and 5 (Surge Protection). It also has surge protection for high-speed Internet lines including cable modem and DSL, telephone or Ethernet. For just under $100. It's the best deal I have seen.

Another vote for APC. My 500VA USB unit has been a trooper. Two lightning strikes, three years, one battery replacement.
