Using Epson Iron-On Transfer Paper w/R1800

Has anyone tried this. My cousin asked if I could print an iron-on transfer for

him. I checked on Epson's site but I don't think my R1800 will work with this

paper.

Do you think the iron-ons will fade or run-off quickly since the R1800 uses

UltraChrome High Gloss inks?

The best way to do this is to try it first on an old undershirt.

Given that Epsons "Ultra Brite, Dura Brite, Super-fantasta-brite," etc ink lines are meant to withstand high temp and fading, I bet it will work.

Those new, Epson 8-ink printers kick ass. At sub $350 it's kind of hard to believe, especially since the R4000 costs nearly $2000, and isn't that much better.

Do you think it would work better with the gloss optimizer on or off?

Probably off. In addition, there's no need to use high gloss, since a T-shirt won't show gloss unless you cake it in epoxy.
