I have a "first" generation imac g5. I have a chance to sell so I can upgrade to version 2. It will cost me about $500 difference. I am wondering if the added upgrades are worth the price.

Thanks

Joel

Depends on what your current iMac has in it- what options did you get?

If you specifically need Airport, bluetooth, or the better graphics card (say if you use it to play games), it might be worth it.

Otherwise, just spend a few bucks to upgrade it to 1GB or 2GB of RAM. You will see a significant performance boost, trust me on that.
