New Mac for work!

Well my company is vastly Windows based but there is a growing Mac fan base. I have been using my own Macs for work for a couple of years now. My current 12inch 1.33PB is great but I hate using it to trouble shoot and support other users. I asked the boss for a company owned Mac. I told him the Mac mini was only $699 and he said go pick one up! I got the top of the line mini and it is pretty cool.

Yeah- I'm going to be in the same situation in about a month.

We're moving into new offices and getting new systems- and I'm going to be getting a new mac.

I know the company would drop some serious cash on my system, but right now I think I'm going to see if I can't wait and just get a Mac mini and 23" display for the time being.

And then get either a top of the line intel powermac or powerbook in a year or so.

    There something aren't they

I just got one of those myself, and at first as was hesitant as i wasn't to pleased with the 1.25ghz emac. But this is so much more responsive and that's after using a 3ghz P4 for 3 months

How do you find the hard drive at speed wise? I find it ok but does lag sightly when under load. But for me the coolest thing is the noise the DVD drive makes
