How to set default window size in Outlook Express 5?

Yesterday, I made the switch from Emailer to OE 5 (I feel dirty). I don't like using the Preview Pane so I open each email in a new window. How does one set the default size for the window because it's too small IMO?

Another question. If I receive a Word document as an attachement and then edit it the changes are not saved apparently. Does that mean I have to save it on my hard disk to keep any changes?

thanks

i was always under the impression that you open a window, resize it,close OE, close the window, restart OE and it remembers; but maybe this is not an option in the free outlook vs. the for pay outlook. Actually, I just did it that way and it worked.

As for the .doc, just where is it going to save changes if you don't first save it on your HD? ISP's email server? not bloody likely! So yes you have to save it to your HD in order to save changes.

I am using Outlook Express for Mac. At work though I use Outlook and in that program I can edit an attachment and save those changes without saving it to the hard disk.

I am still unable to save the window size. oh well <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />
