It's Been 3 Weeks...

Yeah, I'm looking at the Calendar and seeing that there have been 3 Tuesdays gone by with not even the slightest announcement from Apple, so now I'm wondering, since it's been so long, if Tomorrow might bring something, ANYTHING?? Is there a possibility of a speedbump for things like the PM and PB? Just seems like a long time, and with Paris around the corner?? Maybe it's just me...

Well I did see a few posts over at Macrumors from buyers saying their PM purchases were pushed back to 9/2. One even mentioned that a customer service rep said everything was on hold until 8/24. It would also give Apple a week or so to get things in the pipeline for the upcoming IBC on the 9th. So I'm hoping for some of those Really Great PPC Products?.

Yeah, I think Mighty mouse has run it's course. Time for something new on Apple's home page.

The last two were on Tuesday but I'm still hopeful for tomorrow. Maybe Apple didn't want to detract from the Intel announcements today so we have tomorrow or sometime in the next 6 to 12 month.

Okay, now I'm looking at the calendar AGAIN, and realize how flippin sick I am of seeing that MIGHTY MOUSE on the front page of Apple's site everytime I open Safari. Plus we're looking at FIVE Tuesdays since any sort of news came out of Cupertino, HELLO APPLE, I thought that was a sorta critical time of year for you!

Looks like tomorrow is going to be the thing with the detroit high school. I don't know if something like that would make the front page or not.

It seems like it might make it as one of the entries on the bottom of the front. Being the splash screen might be a little to self-agrandizing.

    Safari -- Preferences -- General -- New windows open with: <Empty Page>

    Problem solved.

Seriously, I think things are in a transition stage, and don't expect the kind of updates Apple usually makes. Come 2006, we will have plenty to keep us busy.

Oh that, a few other accessory goodies to deal with...in the meantime.
