iPod and wireless

I have various Express stations and stream my music. I was thinking would it not be superb if iPod had wireless capabilities where you could stream your music from the ipod or even be able to controll the music on your computer. T
That way you can select and see what will play next.. I suppose a kind of remote control capability.
Whats peoples thoughts on this?
