Question on AppleCare and Used Displays?

I am considering getting a used 20 inch from a friend and I am curious what the warranty transfer policy is. Also, is there AppleCare available and lastly if anyone as ever paid for service from Apple, what has the cost been like.



I am looking at worse case scenario here in case it turns a 180 after I get it. It looks fine now :-)
