I don't know. . . The marketing does not complement the product very well. The models in the ads are really ghost-like. If I were going for that look, I think a cheesy aluminum case would be much better.

But I can understand what you see in it. It's not my taste, since it's a bit too sterile of an ensemble. My office is cluttered with charts taped to the wall and RFID wristbands EVERYWHERE. (That's my business). My study at home isn't much different. I would prefer a laptop bag with a bit of texture, and -- egad -- some non-uniformity so that it may match its surroundings.

here ya go, texture and subtle contrast: Tom Bihn Courier I have the one with the orange interior flap. And with a brain case inside I just don't worry about the PB getting ding'ed up.

That's a nice bag. I actually like the "empire builder" more.

When I walk around with a laptop, the LAST thing I want to do is advertise that I have a laptop with me, or even an expensive bag.

Thus, the PowerBook is first inside a tucano, and that is in a normal backpack.

Or maybe I am as well simply so much a laptop person that I would not ever get excited of some generic bags for laptops.. I want to keep my hands free, not carrying anything around.

I just use this. About to end year one of heavy use?carrying around student papers, my laptop, books. All stitching is still completely intact, unlike every other bag I've ever used.

And I don't use a laptop sleeve, just because I don't really need one.

    Not bad cases

My girlfriend will be receiving this case for her birthday late Nov.

She's a fashionista so I thought she might like a bag with a bit more character to tote her laptop around in.

Hey, that was a serious question. The description on the site makes it sound like the case is just big enough for a 15" PB. I take my 15" with me and I need to used my powersupply. I don't want to have to carry two cases with me.

umm.. okay, but it's meant to be a 'sleeve' that fits the powerbook like 'a glove'. these things normaly are only meant to protect the laptop itself, then you put the sleeve with the lappy into another bag (the main bag you carry around) which has all the adapters, mice, pens, other crap in it.

in other words, i do not believe there is space for a poweradaptor in it or anything else

No. This is meant to be a just a sleeve that will keep your laptop from scratching and whatever else may happen in a bag.

It is assumed that you already have another bag where you keep your work documents or school books or other misc. things where you can put the powersupply and any mice that you might use with it.
