will a lombard display work with the guts of a PB G4 12"?

Does anyone know if I can hook up the display of my old lombard to the logic board/power supply of my G4 PB 12"?



The display in my PB G4 is dead so I thought it might be possible to put the guts of the PB inside of the lombard and hook it up to the Lombard Display. Does anyone know if this is possible or should I just get a new PB G4 12" display?

    I suspect this is impossible. The displays are not built as standard LCDs with standard connectors. It is probably a custom design between the video chip and the LCD. Not only that, technology may have changed between then and now. Drivers and power supplies may be different. If you are on a budget you could turn this into a desktop by connecting a cheap external LCD.
