copying home directory
I ended up with an unbootable (but readable) corrupt boot disk due to a software update. I can boot from my backup harddrive, but I am missing some recently installed applications, and my most up to date emails, etc.
Can I just copy the contents of my home directory, and also the missing applications, and get everything up to date on the backup drive? Or is there some other directory where emails and such are stored (like the "prefs" directory in OS 8).
