Activity Monitor does not open

I just noticed tonight that Activity Monitor no longer opens on my G5. I have Tiger 10.4.2. I have repaired permissions, restarted my box, have the latest patches, but have no idea as to the source of the problem. I haven't run it in a while, so I don't know when it might have been broken. The interesting thing is that I have another G5 which also has all of the latest patches and Activity Monitor opens without any problems. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to resolve this problem?

Apparently Graphkit.framework was blown away by Xcode 2.1. Fortunately I didn't have to reinstall OS X. I copied the folder from a second G5 I have.

LOL - if you've ever looked at the bazillion lines of code in the Xcode un-installer, it's a miracle that it doesn't do more damage than it does.
