Hey all. I'm in the market for a 1GB stick of memory for my 15" powerbook G4 1.5GHz, but I can't pay $500 for apple's advertised memory. Can anyone recommend a store that:
1. charges less than $150
2. ships to the US
3. sells reliable memory

You need PC2700 RAM. I buy only Corsair, but there are lots of other brands.
Basically RAM is RAM. I've never had any issue with the "cheaper" RAM like Kingston or generic.

Newegg has RAM for under 100 dollars...

There's a 1gb GeIL SO-DIMM that should work like a top with your PowerBook. And at only ~119 dollars, that's only about 15 bucks more than what I payed for my 512mb DDR333 SO-DIMM about a year ago. Those prices sure are dropping.
Hope you find what you're looking for.

Yea. I was reading this thread and was stocked to relearn that I only have 640 MB of ram in my powerbook.
