Wireless or Bluetooth A4 Printers?
I am considering replacing my A4 inkjet as it no longer prints properly in colour, even after a cartridge change.
As my Mac mini has bluetooth and wireless, I want a wireless or bluetooth printer so I can print with the printer a little way away. So far the only real option I have seen is the HP Deskjet 6840 which is a little over £100.
Any other options, or any comments on any bluetooth or wireless A4 printers? Quality is not a big issue as I mainly print essays, letters etc. Thanks

I've been looking in to this myself recently, as my Canon i850 no longer works with my PowerBook over Airport Express ever since I upgraded to 10.4
One thing to bear in mind about wifi printers - they may require an existing wireless access point or router, i.e. I don't think you print directly from your Mac to the printer, it goes via the access point. At least the Canon ones I looked at work like this, others may be different.
I know Epson do bluetooth modules for some of their printers, and I would assume that you can go direct with one of these. The downside is that the bluetooth module costs extra (AFAIK).
Hope that helps

Thanks for the info digitaldave, that saved me shelling out a lot of money for something that doesn't work since I don't have a router! I suppose I could just buy a cheap printer and an airport express, but I'll need to see how expensive that option would be. Hmm
As a quick bluetooth aside, just found this last night, which lets you control your mac using your bluetooth phone. Great as an iTunes remote!

Ahem. That is pretty old news. But congrats. Its a great product
Another equal great bluetooth software is BluePhoneElite. That and Salling Clicker compliment eachother quite perfect.
Anyways, surely someone has a bluetooth compatible printer recommendation?!

Thanks for that Anders - that is pretty handy too - makes typing messages so much easier. I realised Salling Clicker is a bit older, but I just stumbled across it and loved it so much I had to spread the word.

Yes, dont.
Bluetooth is too slow for printing.
Like IR ( which a lot of HP printers had ) it is really to let phones and PDAs print.
Get an airport express.

Okay, thanks. In that case, is a ther a list anywhere of compatible airport express printers? I couldn't find such a thing on Aple's site.
