Well, is Apple still workkiing on it?



Or has it been orphaned?

    We'll probably see a decent update to it at the beginning of the year.

    iWork '05 was released at MWSF 2005 so Apple will very likely release iWork '06 at MWSF 2006 in January.

    You never know though.



    It was a LONG time between keynote 1 and keynote 2 that comes with iWork.



    That said, I tend to agree that we'll see an update sometime in the first half of 06.

    I'd guess that there will be an update at MWSF '06. I'm thinking they will atleast upgrade Pages (hopefully) and perhaps add some new spreadsheet program. Keynote 2, I doubt will get an upgrade as it is already quite a nice app and as you said, it has had a longer time between upgrades in the past.
