Secret iPhoto upgrades?
While playing with iPhoto and printing a book, I noticed images weren't cropping properly. Images in a book would look fine on screen, but when printed they would be cropped oddly...
So I checked out the help menu, and decided to examine the files on the internet by going to the iPhoto page...
That's when I noticed something odd... the download for iPhoto comes out to 19.7 Meg... the original one came out to 13 Meg...
Has the software been secretly upgraded? I downloaded the larger version and was given the option to 'upgrade' iPhoto. The version number in the info didn't change, but the larger download file was creaeted on Jan 26 while the original was modified on Jan 2 (no creation date)
So far, I can see no differences, but I did not really have time to play with it.
Anyone else notice this?

If I may make a suggestion, try printing to a pdf file. Then see if you can't find an old OS9 version of acrobat reader and print from there. Select page setup, and if you are given the choice to set the printed area to 'maximum', try it and see if the results are better.
The half an inch is more a physical limitation of most printers, but it would be nice to have the same options as OS9. There may be a message that comes up, though, warning you that areas outside the printers border may not come out properly... It works just fine on mine, though, and gives almost edge-to-edge printing.
Hope that helps.
