VoIP on the Macs & PCs
At the moment I am using Skype on my Mac at home, and I've just persuaded my firm to put Skype on my work PC for when I travel. I've found it an excellent product.
However, the firm, for whatever reason, before it plumps for installing Skype in all travelling laptops has asked me about any alternatives. I've head of Babble, which seems to be a Skype equivalent.
However there is also MNS Messenger and Yahoo messenger. These latter 2 are, I belive, only computer to computer connections. Skype and babble can be used to call landlines.
My question is - has anybody out there performed any comparative research between the different offerings? Any quality issues? Or should I just insist on Skype being the preferred solution?
Thanks,
David
