How can I transfer my itunes library from my imac to my PB

Hi,

I must do something wrong, for the last two hours I'm trying to transfer my itunes library which is in an external hard drive to my PB. So when I plug my external hardrive to my PB, my itunes is empty so I selected "add to library" and chose my itunes music folder (from my ext HD) I downloaded all the songs (32GB) but everything staid in the library, it didn't create any albums. It's gonna take me hours to create folders for all thes music.

I need some help please

    Just drag'n'drop. Make sure you checked 'Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library' in iTunes > Preferences > Advanced.

    it's checked but it still doesn't work, can you tell me exactly step by step the whole procedure, maybe I missed something, thanks
