Anyone know if there is a way to use an iMac g5 as a TV... A friend wants to have a computer in his kitchen that also would be his TV...

Thanks

    EyeTV rules.

Like they say, "It's like TiVo for your Mac".

Like my TiVos, I can no longer live without my EyeTV.

The integration with Toast is awesome.

I don't actually have one of these yet... and have never seen one running demo in a store. Can you comment on how TV-like the experience is when controlling it from the remote? And can the remote wake the Mac from sleep?

I have the EyeTV500. The software can wake from sleep or even startup your computer. The only problems I have with this last version of EyeTV is when the hard drive fills up, strange things start to happen. (Can't really blame EyeTV though...)

The remote can control almost everything in EyeTV and works just like any other TV remote. If you have one of those universal learning remotes, you can copy the functions to it.

They have rebates from $30-$100 off 3 products until december.

There is no lag between changing the channels from a cable box like my original EyeTV unit (USB) has?!?!
