iChat and Powershot S400?

I have an Canon Powershot S400 digital camera. Is there a way I can video with it through iChat? When I go to iChat preferences it says there is no camera attached to the computer. I downloaded "Remote Capture" from Canon's website, and that let's me see through the camera's eye on my computer, but only through the Remote Capture program. Any help is appreciated!

    I am not really share about his, as I don't know if your digicam supports webcam feature, but I know iChat doesn't work with usb webcams, you need a plug in called webcam2usb (or something like that, google it!), to allow usb webcam to work with iChat.
