Am I correct to assume that the iPod Video does NOT play DivX movies? Doesn't it seem that DivX compatibility would be the most important thing in a portable video player, considering that practically EVERYTHING that is ripped from a DVD is ripped into DivX format?

Just wondering...

Well, if it can't, just use FFmpegX to convert it into a format that the iPod will be able to use. The PSP preset should probably work.
