Adium send, iChat receive?

All of a sudden (and I mean all of a sudden, I wasn't changing any settings) when ever I receive and IM iChat opens up and displays it. However I use Adium to chat and send messages. The problem stops when I uncheck "Use this account" in iChat but how can I fix this problem, I mean the box used to be checked and this never happened.

    It looks like you always are running iChat up next to your clock, in the menu bar. If Adium and iChat are logged in at the same time, which shouldn't be allowed, I would expect only wierd problems like this to happening.



    Try only using one or the other at a time. Same happens with ICQ/Adium, if you have adium logged into the ICQ network, any other programs using the same log in should automatically log out.



    hope this helps you, I'm hoping understanding the simple design rules of their login limits will lend a helping hand here.
