I have just started using growl and realised its potential. I noticed on the supported applications list that Azureus (the bit torrent client) was amongst the apps that can utilise the notification system but i just don't understand how.

Can anyone explain to me how to get azureus and growl to work together.

Cheers

apearently you need plugin called ribbit to get it working, azureus home page gives this link, but it didn't work for me so I don't know what is this projects real status. Not to mention that the most recent version from azureus is 120 days old. So is azureus dead? I don't know.

I use it and it works great. I have sticky notes when downloads finish, and notices when the status changes. Make sure you install the Azureus plugin AND configure the Growl notifications. I think you have to do both.

Azureus is by no means dead and a new version is nearing release.

I've been trying to get hold of Ribbit, the Azureus plugin for growl, but keep coming to dead ends. Could anyone send it to me or post a link?

    Cheers
