general inquiry: ejecting iPod, how long's it take you?

hey everyone,

previously i owned an iPod Mini, and it used to fully eject pretty quickly - that is once the 'Do Not Disconnect' sign has stopped flashing.

I've noticed my iPod 5G seems to take a full minute to do this though. This isn't really a complaint, more an observation.

Anyone else's take this long too?

    don't worry.

I've realised that once it's ejected from the computer it says:

'Ok to Disconnet', whereas i was reading it as 'Do Not Disconnect'

my mistake. Nothing to see here

Huh? My Nano does not do that. Yours must have even newer software on it.

I reformatted my 5G iPod, and now it ejects as quickly as my 4G iPod. May be an idea for you.

You use the Apple utility "Disk Utility" to format and then the "iPod Software Updater" to "restore" it to reinstall the software on the iPod.
