LaCie d2 Hard Drive Serial ATA

I'd just thought I'd ask around here to see if anyone had an idea of what was going on with my external hard drive. I've had this LaCie d2 Hard Drive Serial ATA for under a year and use it mainly to hold my music and video files. I was hooked-up to my 15" PB but I just recently bought the new iMac. I would sometimes have a hard time moving larger files to the hard drive from my PB, but now I can't move anything over to my it from my iMac. I even tried dragging a single photo over and got an error that says "Sorry, the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code-8065)". I've looked on the Lacie website and can't find anything on this error. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I don't know what exactly is going on, but I've had problems with mine, too, making me rethink the purchase. Just had a slightly older LaCie drive die completely, too.

On the d2, I have gotten error messages that say something akin to "you can't write anything on this disk, darn it." I used Diskwarrior and Techtool Pro and "fixed" it, so it must have been a volumes thing. Obviously, you can tell I'm not the most tech savvy, so I could have been my own worst enemy, I'm not sure. It works fine now, but apparently, there were enough problems I wasn't aware of that I lost a bunch of my favorite music.
