software promises to free iTunes music from iPods

That is a headline on MacSurfer from the NapaValleyRegister. A company named United Virtualities Group has come up with something called HotRecorder, which catches music as it is headed for the sound card. It converts iTunes music files to MP3s, and Yahoo music files to MP3s, also.



There is a note on the companies view on legality, and uses of its software.
