So, was listening to my iPod around 9:40 AM EST . Around 10, I connected my 60GB iPod photo to my 14 inch iBook G4 933 Mhz using the Dock and a FireWire dock connectore cable. The "Do Not Disconnect" image showed up. I then realised that it wasn't showing up on my desktop, didn't open iTunes and the ipod screen was fronzen. So, unplugged it, did the menu + select reset. Got the Silver apple logo then this:

and it said to go to http://www.apple.com/support/ipod

I then got the "low battery icon"

I tried connecting the iPod with USB 2. Got the Silver apple logo again, the sad iPod icon and then this

Mind you, this is on an iPod photo and it had a B&W charging icon. It looked like it was trying to charge over USB 2.0 BUT, it was stuck at this image, no charging animation.

Here's the noise that it's making:

The iPod doesn't show up on my desktop, in Disk Utilty, in the iPod software updater or in Micromat's "PodLock". My question is: can my data be recovered in any way? I've got a 60 GB iPod photo that is pretty much a brick right now. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail me at [email protected]
